Q1. "Error 691: Access was denied because the username and/or password was invalid on the domain" message appeared when connecting to Internet after I changed the User name and Password on the Connection software.
A1. You probably mistyped your NETVIGATOR email address or your email access password is incorrect. Please check that both your email address and password are correct and retry. If the problem persists, please contact our Technical Support Officer for assistance.
Q2. I forgot my NETVIGATOR email address and access password, what should I do?
A2. Your NETVIGATOR email address and access password were clearly printed on the Welcome Letter we sent to you when you first join NETVIGATOR. If, however, you still cannot find your email address and corresponding password, you may contact our Technical Support Officer for assistance.
Q3. I am using a broadband router for my Internet access. How can I change the User Name and Password on my broadband router?
A3. We are sorry that NETVIGATOR does not provide support on broadband routers configuration. However, in general, you need to look for the PPPoE setting on your broadband router and change the User Name / Login ID and password accordingly. Different broadband routers may have different configuration procedures. Please consult your broadband router user manual for details.
Q4. I am using Windows XP. When I double click the NETVIGATOR Broadband desktop icon, my computer connects to the Internet automatically without prompting me to input my User Name and Password. How can I change the User Name and Password?

Step1:
Double click the Network Connections icon inside the Control Panel
Step2:
Right click on the NETVIGATOR Broadband icon inside Network Connections windows and select Properties
Step3:
Go to the Options tab on the NETVIGATOR Broadband Properties dialog box and make sure the checkbox for "Prompt for name and password, certificate, etc." is checked
Step4:
Click OK to save the setting and double click the NETVIGATOR Broadband icon inside Network Connections to launch the Connection software.
Step5:
The Connection software Windows should pop up and you can change the User name and Password accordingly
Q5. I am using a third party PPPoE dialer to connect to NETVIGATOR Broadband, do I need to change User Name and Password and how?
A5. Yes. You can change the User name and Password on your PPPoE dialer, similar to the example we shown above. As NETVIGATOR does not provide support on 3rd party PPPoE dialer connection, for details operation on how to change the User name and Password on your third party PPPoE dialer, please refer to the dialer's user guide.
   
Note: After successful login to Broadband Internet using your NETVIGATOR e-mail address and the email access password, your old Broadband Internet login ID (i.e. LoginID@ultraline,LoginID@ultralineatm or LoginID@ultradirect) will be suspended permanently on the same day.
